What are the Cloud Storage Levels?

I am new to cloud computing and am curious to know about Cloud Storage Levels.

Comments

  • Cloud storage device mechanisms provide common levels of data storage, such as:

Files – Data collections that have been organized into files and stored in folders are known as files.
Blocks - The smallest unit of individually accessible data is a block. Because of its proximity to the hardware, it is the lowest level of storage.
Datasets – Table-based, delimited, or record-based data sets are known as datasets.
Objects - Data is organized as web-based resources, together with the metadata that goes with it.

Each of the aforementioned data storage layers has a certain kind of technical interface attached to it. A certain class of cloud storage devicesand the cloud storage service that exposed its API are associated with this interface.
